Built for the Ruger Marlin 1895 45-70 (SBL, Trapper, Guide Gun, Dark Series). True 2-baffle radial brake: 90° radial ports intersect to form expansion chambers and real baffles for recoil reduction without concussion. It stays slim at .840" and back tapers to .765" for a flush fit, adding only 1.125" forward of the muzzle.

Installation

  1. Make sure the firearm is completely unloaded.
  2. Confirm the brake bore matches or exceeds your caliber.
  3. Remove the factory thread protector or muzzle device, and any O-ring on the threads.
  4. Thread the brake on and hand tighten with the included tensioning key, using the ports nearest the crown.
  5. Remove the key after tightening.
